RSYNC – Provides synchronization of the Spamhaus Block Lists to the customer’s designated DNS server. Eliminates external network latency problems. The data is stored locally on your network, so the turnaround time is short and entirely under your control.

  • Requires IP address of dedicated RSYNC server

QUERY – Dedicated real-time access to the Spamhaus Block Lists from a private network of servers. Uses traditional DNS queries so configuration is simple and straight forward.

BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) – Designed to load the Spamhaus Block Lists into network edge routers and peer with Spamhaus through BGP protocol, allowing router equipment to block packets originating from known malicious IP space.

  • Requires Router IP address and ASN

RPZ (Response Policy Zone) – Designed for DNS administrators to selectively block the DNS resolution of known malicious sites.

  • Requires BIND server IP address
